Our Island has so much to see, and there are many places for which a sea kayak is the only way you are going to see it. Contact Us regarding any aspect of paddling on our beautiful Island.
- Tim, Jacqueline and Gabarus would like to congratulate Kathy on completing her training to be a Paddle Canada Introduction to Sea Kayaking Instructor! It's been a process of training, practice and mentorship, and she has done great! She's a supportive coach who treats her students well.
- New this summer are our Kayak and Yoga days with Green Lotus Yoga, which are a great success. Check out our Facebook page for pictures and call to join us in connecting with the earth, air and ocean.
- Our multi-day trips to the Cape Breton Highlands, Isle Madame and Scatarie Island are gathering a lot of attention and bookings, don't wait too long to reserve your spot. Our photo gallery page has images from these fabulous trips! The schedules for our 2010 Quick Trips and Expeditions are are upon their respective pages - take a look and call or email us.
- Rising Tide Expeditions continues to be a leader in sea kayaking training in Cape Breton Island. We have expanded the number of Sea State 0 - Introduction to Kayaking and Sea State 1 - Safety and Sea Kayaking courses. If you are interested in one of these courses and can't make the listed dates - call us! We have a waiting list and may add courses. Our Sea State 2 - Intermediate Sea Kayaking Course, which covers the Paddle Canada Level 2 Sea Kayaking Skills curriculum, will September 14-18. Tim and guest instructor Blair Doyle, president of Paddle Canada will be running the course. Check out our photo gallery and take a look at our Education page for our 2010 course offerings.
